I too have found that more and more people are making their first purchase of period Old West items. So why the increased interest ? I'm not sure but it could be because of the recent movies like 3:10 to Yuma and The Assassination of Jesse James. Maybe it's a generation thing and the people that grew up watching The Lone Ranger and Roy Rogers are now at a point in their lives that they have more discretionary money and collecting Old West items reminds them of their childhood.
